Articles of Incorporation
1982 SEP -9 AM 10:16 ARTICLES OF INCORPORATION FIRST: The undersigned MICHAEL L.TODD, ALBERT T. LANDBERG JR. and JIMMIE S. FARIS, whose Post office addresses are 1414-C-Wright Circle, Bolling AFB, D.C. 20336, 13700 Beauwick Courtv Wheaton, Maryland 20906, and 9010 Home Guard Drive Burke, Virginia 22015, respectively, being at least eighteen (18) Years of age, do hereby form a corporation under the general laws of the State of Maryland. SECOND: The name of the corporation is: CAPITAL PC USER GROUP, INC. THIRD: The Purposes for which the Corporation is formed are as Follows:
"A. To provide a forum for members of the personal computer community for their mutual benefit and increased understanding and utilization of the personal computer.***"
"B. To encourage experimentation and research in the current and potential uses of the personal computer.***"
"C. To provide an opportunity for all users of the personal computer to exchange ideas, knowledge and experience for the enrichment of all concerned.***" D. To Provide opportunity for both formal and informal education in computer applications, hardware and software technologies. F. To Provide an opportunity for the formation of special interest groups. A. No one member shall have the authority to obligate the Corporation either for Performance or for money. Such obligation shall be by majority vote of the board of directors. B. No Person shall be denied the Privilege of membership in this organization for reason of race, sex, national origin or age. C. No Personal gain shall inure to any member by reason of his membership in this organization. D.
